TIL therapy is a type of treatment in which Tumor-Infiltrating Lymphocytes (TILs) are removed from a patient’s tumor and grown in large numbers in a laboratory. These lymphocytes are then infused back into the patient to help the immune system kill the cancer cells.
This highly personalized kind of immunotherapy may be used to treat Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma, Melanoma, Lung Cancer, Genitourinary Cancers, and a growing list of other malignancies.
