What types of banked biosamples are currently available for ordering from the BIOMEDICA CRO’s Inventory? 🩸

Currently, there is a wide range of specimens such as FFPE blocks, frozen tissues, whole blood, plasma, serum, buffy coat, rest blood, PBMC, urine, saliva, and other sample types stored in our Inventory. Additionally, we offer various matched biosample sets, which may consist of matched tissue in FFPE blocks, fresh frozen tissue specimens, and biofluids obtained from the same donor.

Human samples we offer were collected from diverse patient populations, including but not limited to subjects with the following conditions:

Autoimmune: Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Inflammatory Bowel Disease (including Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn’s Disease), Graves’ Disease, Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA), etc.
Cardiology: Heart Failure, Hypertension, Myocardial Infarction, etc.
Dermatology: Psoriasis, Atopic Dermatitis, Melanoma, etc.
Neurology: Parkinson’s Disease, Alzheimer’s Disease, Lewy Body Dementia, Vascular Dementia, Frontotemporal Dementia, etc.
Oncology: Colorectal Cancer (CRC), Breast Cancer, Prostate Cancer, Gastric Cancer, Renal Cancer, Bladder Cancer, Ovarian Cancer, Endometrial Cancer, Cervical Cancer, Thyroid Cancer, etc.
Benign Conditions and Healthy Controls: Various benign conditions and normal healthy cases that can be used as a control cohort.

Importantly, all clinical samples & data are collected in adherence to the highest ethical standards, following approval from the Institutional Review Board or Independent Ethics Committee (IRB/IEC). All donors provide informed consent by signing an Individual Consent Form (ICF) before participating in our projects.
