Biosample procurement is in high demand – a new investigation indicates that e-cigarettes can cause cellular and molecular lung changes
According to new research, e-cigarettes can cause cellular and molecular changes in the lungs. Specifically, prolonged inhalation of e-cigarette aerosols by mice caused changes in the animals’ pulmonary immune cell composition and altered gene and protein levels in the lungs (please find more information about this study in The FASEB Journal).
The health consequences of vaping for healthy and diseased subjects are not known. Hundreds of trials on human biospecimens, collected from donors with various conditions, are being conducted these days.
Although everyone is aware of the harm of such harmful habits, the world still needs to find answers to numerous questions, as well as ways to solve certain complications of the patient’s condition.

In general, it is feasible to collect up to 50 ml of whole blood and process it into plasma/ buffy coat/ serum/ PBMC, etc., saliva, stool, various types of swabs, etc. All human biospecimens we provide are collected under the internal company SOPs, as well as with your particular recommendations.
