My day involves coordinating shipments, maintaining cold chain compliance, and negotiating with logistics companies to secure the best prices for our clients. I ensure that every sample travels first class, even if it is in a cooler. Ensuring the integrity of temperature-sensitive deliveries is paramount, and I take pride in managing this critical aspect of our operations. Keeping it Cool Under Pressure! 🧊 🚛💨
A significant part of my role involves preparing the necessary shipping documentation and ensuring we have complete recipient data. This meticulous preparation is crucial for smooth customs clearance and on-time delivery. Accurate documentation helps prevent delays and ensures that your samples reach you without any issues.
In addition, I carefully monitor the route of every box and request dry ice replenishment when necessary to maintain the required temperature throughout the shipment. I strive to find the optimal box for each batch of samples and ensure that the amount of dry ice is sufficient to maintain the samples’ integrity without incurring excessive costs.❄️
From negotiating with couriers to monitoring temperature-sensitive shipments, I cover all bases to ensure your critical research biosamples arrive without any issues. I strive for perfection in every shipment, making sure each one meets the highest standards of quality and reliability.
